Claims for unpaid wages can be brought before the California Labor Commission – Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, or in California Superior Court. When an employee brings a claim for unpaid wages, the California Labor Code entitles the employee to recover any attorneys fees and costs that they incur in pursuing their claims.
